Marinara

The term “alla marinara” , generally mean some dishes made with garlic, oil and parsley adding the cherry tomatoes with basil leaf.
In some cases, you can find the capers and olives.
In Neapolitan tradition for instance, you cook the pasta “alla marinara” with fresh cherry tomatoes garnished with a basil leaf.
These ingredients have a very important role in Italian cuisine. In fact they are used in many dishes, especially seafood.
We will find in menus, various types of pasta such as spaghetti marinara, Strozzapreti, noodles, bucatini and risotto.
In many restaurants are served, mussels, clams marinara and tunafish ; there will also focaccia with salt and pizzas with this special and simple dressing. We will also find vegetables “alla marinara” with a great flavor due only to these poor and simple ingredients, garlic, olive oil, parsley and cherry tomatoes.
Even the so-called ” bruschetta” is seasoned in this simple way.
